Selecting a location

There are two ways in which the app determines what stations will appear on the dial.

Select current location

The Bose Internet Radio App will select the closest stations within a certain radius of where your device is physically located. The primary way the app selects stations is by using cellular/GPS data, if available. This is the default setting of the application, and when first loaded it will use this method to build the radio stations available on the dial. However, if cellular/GPS data is not available the app will use the IP/network address via WiFi.

To set the current location, follow these steps:

On the lower left corner of your application screen, press the settings icon

Under "PREFERENCES," press the “Select current location” option

The app will now locate your current position and populate the tuner with local channels.

Note: The first time the app is started, it will create a list of radio stations only one time. This selected list of radio stations will remain across the dial, and will not reload each time the app is started. To refresh the list of stations listed, go to "SETTINGS" and select “Select current location” again.

Select another location

The second way the app selects a list of radio stations across the dial is by pressing “Select another location” in the "SETTINGS" menu. This allows you to choose the location you want.

To choose another location, follow these steps:

On the lower left corner of your application screen, press the settings icon

Under "PREFERENCES," press the “Select another location” option

Select a country
